The Harford County Sheriff's Office will use JAG funds to purchase a state-of-the-art ELSAG Plate HUNTER License Plate Reader (LPR) camera to combat crimes against persons & property in the county.

The Harford County Sheriff's Office will use JAG funds to purchase a state-of-the-art ELSAG Plate HUNTER License Plate Reader (LPR) camera which will be mounted in a pre-determined location in Harford county; and purchase four (4) hand-held radar units which will be deployed in high traffic areas of increased motor vehicle crashes.  This equipment will greatly enhance law enforcement efforts to protect the safety of citizens county-wide by curbing crimes of violence and crimes against properties; and promote safer roadways.
