DOJ JAG FFY24 Cheshire-Keene

The disparate jurisdictions of the County of Cheshire, NH and the City of Keene, NH will use JAG funds with a goal/purpose to reduce violent crime. The objective/strategy is to continue the interoperable emergency communications projects for both the County of Cheshire and the City of Keene. The specific priority/activity and use of funds is on interoperable emergency communications equipment in order to continue cellular connectivity and smartphone/data packages for use in patrol cruisers that have a mobile data terminal laptop. The expected outcomes are that laptop computers/tablets in cruisers/vehicles will be able to access information directly from SPOTS (State Police On-line Telecommunications System), which provides FBI NCIC (National Criminal Information Center) and Department of Motor Vehicle checks. The service area is the entire County of Cheshire. The beneficiaries are all those who live, work, and play in the County. The project period of performance is 01 Oct 2023 to 30 Sep 2025.
