Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2024, $10,315)

The disparate jurisdictions of the City of Waycross and Ware County in Georgia will use JAG funds to purchase equipment. Specifically, the City of Waycross will use JAG funds to purchase traffic control devices for officers to use at accident scenes and during disasters to direct citizens safely around dangerous areas, and Ware County will use JAG funds to purchase traffic safety equipment to help protect citizens and deputies when they respond to disasters and emergency scenes.
