Violent Crime Reduction Program

The City of Greenville and the County of Washington, as joint applicants, propose to implement goals to improve upon the functioning of our criminal justice system by aid of the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program. Our five (5) core elements essential in performing our goals are to improve partnership, strategic planning, training, outreach, and accountability. In order to manage crime prevention, we must ensure that we have adequate means to interoperable communications. Each agency will execute objectives by purchasing (6) weapons (5) Less Lethal Pepperball Kits, taser cartridges & batteries, ammunition and ink pens.
