The City of Rogers Police Department strives to ensure that our officers receive the best equipment to protect our city and civilians with not only the finest quality items, but equipment that will assist officers in doing their job most efficiently and safely. As part of our commitment to ensuring officer safety, efficiency, and accuracy, The City of Rogers proposes to purchase Holosun multi-reticle sights for our duty firearms.
The Holosun EPS-RD-MRS is a full-sized, enclosed handgun sight featuring an aspheric lens for a clear sight picture allowing officers the ability to keep both eyes open. This will assist officers in being able to constantly assess the ever-changing environments that they are often faced with. The EPS-RD- MRS has an ultra-low dot height for compatibility with most factory iron sights. The EPS-RD- MRS features Holosun’s 650nm Red Super LED with Holosun’s multi-reticle system allowing officers the option to choose the reticle that is best suited for them. The EPS-RD- MRS provides up to 50k hour battery life, which includes Shake Awake technology to insure long lasting operation without the worry of changing batteries. The EPS-RD- MRS is made of 7075 aluminum and is IP68 dust and water proof making them very durable for day to day law enforcement operations. Ultimately, by equipping our officers with Holosun multi-reticle sights, we enhance their situational awareness, accuracy, and overall effectiveness.
Benton County proposes to upgrade and add equipment for enhanced safety and visibility to their Accident Reconstruction Unit. They propose the purchase of customized roll-up sign face boards, reflective cones to mitigate traffic, wearable safety lights for Deputies on accident scenes to enhance visibility as well as illuminate the area they are working, traffic cone mounted safety lights that deliver all-around illumination and ensure deputies are visible from every direction and portable light towers to light up investigation areas.
