Equipment Procurement and Crime Interdiction

The Rock County Sheriff's Office will use JAG24 funds to purchase equipment to enhance the quality of life of the community, by working cooperatively with the public to enforce the law, preserve the peace, reduce the fear of crime and provide for a safer environment.  The Beloit Police Department will use JAG24 funds for overtime and fringe benefits to investigate firearm and violent crime activity within the Beloit community, by conducting targeted area deployments.  The Janesville Police Department will use JAG24 funds for overtime and fringe benefits to deploy officers in targeted enforcements efforts including Targeted Enforcement Interdictions.  All three agencies will work together to make Rock County a safer place for our residents.
