Training equipment

The Sumter County Sheriff's Office is seeking to utilize funds from this grant program to purchase ammunition, simunition rounds, and canine training equipment that will provide scenario-based trainings to be utilized in the field by deputies. It is our continuing goal to significantly improve the security of our operations and to vastly improve officer safety while maintaining the highest quality of service possible to the citizens of Sumter County. The items specified in our request will go a long way towards meeting these goals.
