Fitness Equipment and Computer Gear for Jonesboro AR Police Department

The City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, requests $39,466.88 from the BJA FY24 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) program to purchase computer gear and fitness equipment. This materiel will be used primarily by officers tasked with monitoring and curtailing hybridized gang activity. The whole city stands to benefit from a reduction in gang-related crime, but we are specifically targeting three neighborhoods where the problem is most pronounced.
