2024 BJA JAG Application for Kennewick, WA Police Department. Per the solicitation, Kennewick will share the funding with Richland, WA Police Department and Benton County, WA Sheriff's Office.

The disparate jurisdictions of Kennewick, WA, Richland, WA and Benton County, WA will use the JAG funds for technology improvements and equipment. Specifically, the City of Kennewick will use JAG funds to purchase a secure communication platform to foster collaboration internally and with other law enforcement partners during emergencies. The City of Richland will use the JAG funds to purchase new radios for the two high school School Resource Officers. The County of Benton, Washington will be purchasing ballistic helmets for deputies and secure storage for patrol vehicles.
