Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2024, $46,256)

The Butler County Sheriff's Office (BCSO), the City of Hamilton and the City of Middletown, Ohio will utilize the allotted grant funds to support law enforcement programs as follows. BCSO will purchase a two-way translation device, iPad Air/cases, and an IP PoleCam/license. The City of Hamilton use the funds for police cruiser costs. The City of Middletown will use the funds for Power DMS software fees and supervisor training costs. All three agencies use these funds to support and not supplant current budget funds to provide additional products and services in the support of daily activities.
