Training, equipment, community policing supplies

The disparate jurisdictions of Lewiston and Auburn Maine will use JAG funds for technology improvements, police supplies, training and a confidential information fund.  Specifically the City of Lewiston Police Department will update or replace its aging video conferencing system, purchase a polygraph instrument and camera set up for the polygraph room, update our tasers, and provide specialized training.  The City of Auburn Police Department will utilize JAG funds for a real-time emergency notification system, flashlights, LED road flare kits and their confidential informant fund.
