City of Portland, Maine FY2024 Justice Assistance Grant

The Portland, Maine Police Department (PPD) will administer the 2024 Justice Assistance Grant on behalf of itself and disparate partner Cumberland County Sheriff's Office (CCSO). As provided in the BJA recommendations and agreed to in an MOU, PPD will receive $50,282 while CCSO will receive $12,328. 

PPD proposes to use its award to purchase a Utility Vehicle for patrolling trails, parks, and wooded areas within the City while CCSO proposes to use its award to repair the air conditioning system in its mobile command post.
