Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2024, $91,620)

The disparate jurisdictions of City of Topeka, Kansas and Shawnee County will use JAG funds for technology improvements and equipment. Specifically, the Shawnee County Department of Corrections will use JAG funds to replace several portable radios to upgrade to digital, and the city of Topeka will use JAG funds to purchase mobile camera trailer to enhance public safety and combat crime.
