Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2024, $358,693)
The City and County of San Francisco will use JAG funds to provide early-stage diversion and focused deterrence activities, efficient prosecution, targeted intensive probation supervision, recidivism reduction, and system-involvement prevention, through various evidence-based programs and activities: Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD SF), Focused Drug Deterrence, Drug Court Prosecution, Targeted Drug Treatment for Underserved Populations, Intensive Probation Supervision, Reentry Social Work, and Citywide Justice-Involved Youth lanning. San Francisco’s multi-agency partnership, which includes the Police Department, Sheriff's Department, District Attorney's Office, Adult Probation Department, Public Defender's
Office, and Department of Children, Youth and Families, will coordinate and lead these efforts.
