FY 2024 National Sex Assault Kit Initiative Area 4 project

Funding provided by the FY24 National Sexual Assault Kit initiative will provide for personnel costs, additional DNA testing if necessary, and attendance of the annual SAKI conference. Baltimore County will continue to employ successful practices of maintaining and updating inventory records of all sexual assault kits in its procession, sustaining its multidisciplinary working group to assist in the investigative and prosecution processes necessary to resolve these violent crimes, and employing a victim-centered approach throughout its efforts.
