Omaha Tribe of Nebraska Juvenile Healing to Wellness Court

The Omaha Tribe of Nebraska will develop a Juvenile Healing to Wellness Court to respond to alcohol and substance use among youth ages 18 and under and their families. The Tribe will specifically address solidifying the working relationship between the Tribal Court, Law Enforcement, the public school systems, and treatment providers. These partnerships will address public safety and a range of substance use services as priorities utilizing community involvement, immersion of Omaha culture, and building collaboration and partnerships of service providers and community stakeholders as priorities.
