Tribal Youth Program

The Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana has made Tribal youth a priority, and there is a need to incorporate a Tribal Youth Program within the Tribe’s justice system. This project will be utilized to build and implement a strategic plan for a Tribal Youth Program for Tribal members living on or near the reservation, parish residents included in cross-jurisdictional agreements, and guests of the Coushatta Casino Resort. Much of the drug activity is centered at the casino, as it gives access to several major routes that serve as drug pipelines.
