Fort Peck Tribes Juvenile HTW Court

The Fort Peck Tribes will enhance the Juvenile Healing to Wellness Court on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation. The court will strive to connect Tribal youth with their culture to reduce recidivism and prevent them from entering the justice system. The project will be housed in the Fort Peck Tribal Court System, which is a department of the Fort Peck Assiniboine & Sioux Tribes. The goal is to develop and sustain a functioning Juvenile Healing to Wellness Court to reduce drug and alcohol abuse among juveniles and promote an alcohol- and drug-free lifestyle among Fort Peck Tribal youth.
