2021 Children’s Justice Act Partnerships for Indian Communities, The Tulalip Tribes of Washington

The Tulalip Tribes of Washington requested funding to improve the multidisciplinary response to victims of child abuse and child sexual abuse over a three-year project period.  With this funding Tulalip Tribes of Washington will 1) support the positions of Child Advocacy Center (CAC) Manager (0.5 FTE) and the CAC Receptionist (0.5 FTE); 2) provide direct services and emergency assistance to child victims and their families; 3) create a child friendly and culturally competent CAC waiting room; 4) enhance the CAC database; and 5) support training of MDT members.
