2021 Children's Justice Act Partnerships for Indian Communities, The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes of the Flathead Nation

The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes of the Flathead Nation (CSKT) requested funding to support the CSKT CASA Program to provide services for victims of child abuse and neglect.  With this funding CSKT will 1) support an FTE CASA Advocate; 2) provide support to 5-10 child victims; 3) provide cultural activities to child victims and families; 4) provide 2 3-hour trainings annually to 10 CASA volunteers; 5) facilitate the provision of psychosexual evaluations for 10 child victims/youth offenders annually; and, 6) purchase supplies and materials for the project.
