CDA Tribe CTAS PA#6 Child Protection & Safety

The Coeur D’Alene Tribe requested funding to conduct criminal investigations and prosecution of child abuse and sexual assault cases. The Tribe will work in coordination with a multi-disciplinary team to adequately address child advocacy, sexual assault cases, and improve the prosecution rate of charges and convictions for child abuse cases. Their goals and objectives include supporting children and their families, providing targeted training for the Indian Child Welfare Program (ICWP) and law enforcement, and conducting outreach activities surrounding child abuse and sexual assault cases.
