The Rosebud Sioux Tribe Law Enforcement Services (LES) is proposing to implement a project to support supplemental pay for two School Resource Officers (SROs) due to an expansion of duties to investigate initial reports of child abuse, neglect or child sexual assault; train six Criminal Investigators to conduct forensic interviews with children; develop a comprehensive child-focused training program for RST Police Officers/SROs, Criminal Investigators, 911 Dispatchers, Prosecutors, MDT members, Victim Specialists; and hire a LES based Victim Specialist.
