Aleut Community of St. Paul Island Tribal Government 2023 CTAS

Aleut Community of Saint Paul Island requested funding to provide school-based prevention education, conduct investigations of child abuse and neglect, support family and education groups, and provide home-based services to a child/ family who is a victim of a child abuse related crime or have the potential to be a victim of a crimes as result of child abuse or neglect.  With this funding, Aleut Community of Saint Paul Island will: 1) provide information to 75% of St Paul’s children and youth addressing safe touch and safety planning; 2) provide home and community-based support and education services to 65% of the families involved with the child protection system or judicial system due to a crime committed against a child, and 3) develop culturally relevant opportunities to address personal safety and report child abuse and neglect.
