NCT Children's Justice Act Project

The Northern Cheyenne Tribe requested funding to expand services in the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation for child abuse and neglect.  With this funding, the Northern Cheyenne Tribe will: 1) develop a comprehensive community needs assessment, strategic plan, and logic model for enhancing culturally appropriate, victim-centered services to child victims and their families; 2) hire a Victim Specialist to work with existing programs to strengthen partnerships and improve the care to victims and families; and 3) provide referrals to victims and their families for services available in the community.
