Information Sharing Environment (ISE) Project

The Institute for Intergovernmental Research (IIR) will continue to provide services in support of the Program Manager, Information Sharing Environment (PM-ISE), Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). PM-ISE is assisting state, local, and tribal officials with the implementation of a national network of state and major urban-area fusion centers. This multi-dimensional effort spans a number of areas, including but not limited to baseline capabilities; privacy issues; use of intelligence-led policing; technology issues; suspicious activities and incidents reporting; alerts, warnings, and notifications; and situational awareness reporting. State, local, and tribal officials with subject-matter expertise are being used to research and provide recommendations on particular issues impacting the implementation of the national information sharing capability.
