Legal Services of South Central Michigan will use this funding to launch an educational campaign about the rights of victims of immigration-related employment discrimination targeted at low-income, rural immigrant workers in Michigan. This campaign will include outreach and the training of private attorneys to increase the pool of attorneys able to assist workers filing complaints and to litigate on the behalf of immigrant workers. Grant funds will support the salaries and benefits of outreach workers and the managing attorney, travel expenses for training conferences, and project supplies.
