Public Education Program for Immigrant Workers, Employers and Human Service Providers to Educate Them About the Anti-Discrimination Provision of the Immigration Law

Catholic Charities of Dallas will use these funds to conduct a regional outreach program encompassing a four-state area (Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Arkansas). The goal of the project is to reduce the number of immigration-related unfair employment practices by informing potential victims of unfair employment practices and educating them on the remedies available through the Office of Special Council. The award will be used to support costs associated with salaries, travel expenses, and project supplies.
