Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2007, $65,000)

Legal Aid of Nebraska (LAN) will use grant funds to implement a comprehensive statewide education campaign targeting Nebraska's rapidly growing immigrant populations. LAN will support a number of training seminars throughout the state to teach immigrant populations to identify discrimination when it occurs in communities with large concentrations of immigrants. Funds will provide salaries and benefits for project staff, office equipment, and project supplies, and website development.
