Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2007, $75,000)
The National Immigration Law Center will use grant funds to provide materials, training and technical assistance to explain how recent laws, policies and practices impact discrimination protections. This media campaign will be aimed at advocates who serve immigrant workers as well as labor and civil rights advocates in states and localities where immigrants have received 'no-match' letters. Funding will support salaries, benefits, and travel costs of project personnel, project supplies, and costs associated with training conferences.
