Drug court programs funded by the Drug Court Discretionary Grant Program are required by law to target nonviolent offenders. The Program supports the following activities:
adult drug court implementation, single jurisdiction drug court enhancement, statewide drug court enhancement, and planning efforts.

The Okanogan Behavorial Healthcare and Medical Clinic (OBHC) will use Fiscal Year (FY) 2008 Drug Court Enhancement grant funds to improve treatment for meth-addicted participants and leverage community support for aftercare in rural areas. The Drug Court will provide training and education opportunities for new team members and others including law enforcement leaders. The award will provide funding for drug court employees and affliates to attend discipline-specific training sessions and national conferences on the assessment and treatment of meth-addicted non-violent offenders.
