PMP Phase II Hub ICD Supplement Project

The IJIS Institute (IJIS) will address the issue of interstate information sharing for prescription drug monitoring programs (PDMPs). IJIS will build upon the continuing work on the Phase III Hub prototype system that will be used to demonstrate proof-of-value for multi-state exchange capabilities. The overall goal of this initiative is to reduce the national level administrative overhead costs by employing a PMP hub. The project will complement the Phase III work by creating a full Interface Control Document to govern the technical formats and protocols for data to be exchanged between states using the Hub server as an intermediary.
