National Animal Cruelty and Fighting Initiative

The Association of Prosecuting Attorneys (APA) will use the grant funds to continue its work with the prevention and prosecution of animal cruelty and fighting. APA's goal is to provide prosecutors and their allied criminal justice partners with the training and resources necessary to raise awareness to the connection between domestic violence, children exposed to violence, elder abuse, and gangs to animal abuse.
