The Police Executive Research Forum (PERF) will work with police executives and law enforcement agencies to develop a national publication of case studies that demonstrate how police chiefs exercise leadership using the concepts of procedural justice and legitimacy in the real world of policing. The publication will include key takeaways and highlight strategies for operationalizing the concepts of procedural justice and legitimacy within a police agency. The purpose of this work is to provide concrete examples for police executives of how the concepts of procedural justice and legitimacy work in practice. CA/NCF
