Drug Court Training, Publication and Technical Assistance Initiative

The National Drug Court Institute (NDCI) will utilize its existing expertise in training and technical assistance, and expand its portfolio of services to implement the 'Fidelity to the Drug Court Model Initiative (FDCMI). FDCMI is defined as following the 'Ten Key Components of Drug Court' (NADCP, 1997). NDCI will develop, deliver, evaluate, market, and expand the training and resources available to Drug Court professionals. The goal is to enhance court functioning, and promote the utilization of evidence-based services. FDCMI will enhance the outcomes for Drug Court participants and ensure fidelity to the model.
