Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) Strategic Planning Project

The Texas State University in partnership with the Moss Group will support the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) through the provision strategic planning efforts designed to reduce PREA risks. They will complete a multi-institutional and multi-functional field ready tool useful in an assessment of PREA activity including severity and frequency to be able to measure changes in PREA severity and frequency achieved through systematic interventions. These efforts are designed to provide an assessment instrument to support interventions in the field aimed at reducing the risk of assaults in correctional institutions.
