Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2011, $375,000)
The National Alliance for Drug Endangered Children will further expand the Drug Endangered Children Multidisciplinary Training Program and improve responses for children living in dangerous drug environments. This will be accomplished through the delivery of multidisciplinary DEC training; increasing the awareness of and access to the multidisciplinary DEC training program; and expanding the capacity of local, state, and tribal jurisdictions and DEC collaborations to develop effective responses to the risks faced by drug endangered children by providing technical assistance. The grantee will deliver the trainings to DEC collaborations through both web-based trainings and in-person trainings and host regional train the trainer sessions.
