National Center for the Prevention of Violence Against the Police Project

The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) will support the mission of the National Center for the Prevention of Violence Against the Police through the analysis of data and dissemination of information on felonious assaults against law enforcement to the criminal justice field. The goal of the project is the analysis of data by project staff resulting in a better understanding of the factors influencing line of duty deaths. The IACP will also use collected data to support informational briefs on the National Center webpage and to develop training on the prevention of felonious deaths and injuries among law enforcement officers.
