Northern Kentucky Drug Strike Force Pharmaceutical Diversion Program

The County of Kent will support through its Northern Kentucky Drug Strike Force (NKDSF) through the Kent County Fiscal Court. NKDSF will combat the diversion, trafficking, and abuse of prescription drugs through education, partnership-building, trafficking investigation, and diversion investigation. They will disrupt the availability of prescription drugs being trafficked, enhance community awareness of the hazards of prescription drug abuse, and gain public support of prescription drug programs. Additionally, NKDSF Director and the agent designated as the pharmaceutical diversion investigator will host a training workshop for health care professionals. This workshop will be directed toward physicians, pharmacists, and other health care professionals who would benefit from increased knowledge in identifying signs of pharmaceutical diversion.
