The BJA Electronic and Cyber Crime National Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) Program serves the nation's communities by providing training and technical assistance to state, local, and tribal law enforcement officials; intelligence analysts; prosecutors; fusion center staff; and other criminal justice entities on preventing, investigating, and responding to electronic, cyber, and high tech crimes. This program will serve as a key resource to identify new and emerging issues in the areas of electronic, cyber, and high tech crimes. It is also intended to address the training needs of small and underserved agencies in rural and remote jurisdictions across the nation that are responsible for preventing, investigating and responding to these crimes.

The National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C) will enhance the current national TTA activities related to preventing, investigating, and responding to economic, cyber, and high tech crimes. Their objectives include: Researching, developing, enhancing, and delivering best practices training curricula (on topics that include cyber and financial crimes investigations, forensics, and intelligence) using cost-effective, innovative delivery methodologies; providing technical assistance and investigative support to state, local, and tribal law enforcement to improve outcomes of investigations enhancing justice agency and public awareness by updating, developing, and delivering meetings and support materials; and developing and delivering resource materials that enhance knowledge in the fields of cyber and financial crime investigations; computer forensics; and intelligence, including new and emerging issues.
