The County of Fresno continue to combat and respond to intellectual property (IP) crime incidents. Specifically, the Fresno County Sheriff's Office will implement project activities by providing training, technical, and investigative assistance to local and allied law enforcement agencies in the identification of counterfit products and IP violations; conducting site inspections of areas known to traffic in counterfit goods; provide education to business owners and the public regarding IP crimes; and enable the Intellectual Property Enforcement Unit to continue to arrest and prosecute individuals and organizations involved in IP crimes.
