The City of Houston Police Department (HPD) will continue enforcing criminal intellectual property laws in the Houston area. HPD will work in partnership with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, prosecutors, and industry representatives to arrest and prosecute individuals, and disrupt or dismantle organized criminal enterprises that violate intellectual property laws. Funds will be used to fund overtime for investigation of intellectual property crimes.
