Two disparate jurisdictions will share grant funds to purchase and upgrade equipment. The goal of the project is to replace equipment that cannot be repaired. The funds will allow the jurisdictions to purchase equipment that is not in their general budget, and allow the department to be in compliance with state and federal laws. The equipment will enhance security, enable officers to investigate accidents in accordance with the state's E-crash program, and improve law enforcements' ability to process evidence.
