Award Information
Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2011, $1,000,000)
The Association of Prosecuting Attorneys (APA) will use the grant funds to continue the national development of community prosecution through training prosecutors in using the Framework for High Performance Prosecutorial Services model. The four components of the framework (embracing community prosecution, harnessing science and technology, implementing information sharing, and employing outcome evaluation) provide a structure for examining the opportunities and needs of today's prosecutors. APA will train and equip prosecutors with the requisite skills and knowledge necessary to implement evidence-based decision-making within the offices and within the broader criminal justice system while continuing to promote BJA's key principles of community prosecution.
