Note:
This awardee has received supplemental funding. This award detail page includes information about both the original award and supplemental awards.
The Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) will utilize this grant to expand the Byrne Criminal Justice Innovation Training and Technical Assistance Program. The overarching goal is to provide proactive, comprehensive training and technical assistance (TTA) to BCJI grantees to help them plan, implement and enhance place-based, community-oriented strategies to address neighborhood-level crime issues as a component of, or a foundation to, broader neighborhood revitalization. In doing so, LISC seeks to advance DOJ's contributions to the White House Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative (NRI) and the efforts of NRI partners to transform distressed neighborhoods into communities of opportunity.
