PREA Compliance Project

The PREA Reallocation funding will be used to secure an auditor for each community center. This will assist the state of Nebraska in being one step closer to achieving full compliance with the PREA standards. Funds will also be used in order to enhance prevention and reduction efforts of sexual abuse in confinement. Providing incarcerated victims with community advocacy resources assists in attaining compliance with the PREA standards. This will also give victims the assistance they need in order to help in the healing process and prevent further trauma and victimization.
