The recipient will use their 2014 Reallocated PREA funds to hire a full-time PREA Compliance Specialist to assist facilities in reaching all of the requirements of the PREA standards; develop a database to track contractors and volunteers statewide; and support the Department of Corrections efforts to both refine training curricula as well as to identify better means to track and share detailed training completion information across the agency.
