National Resource and Technical Assistance Center for Improving Law Enforcement Investigations

The Police Foundation will serve as the training and technical assistance provider for a national resource center to improve law enforcement investigations at the local level. TTA activities will include resources on using new tools and methodologies to assist in generating investigative leads; assessing current practices and recommending innovative investigative policies and practices to specific departments who meet the eligibility criteria; ability to complete a thorough assessment of the investigatory function and practices of a department; and issue related recommendations for improvement of investigative practices.
