The Arizona Forensic Science Advisory Committee will focus on hair microscopy evidence used to obtain convictions. The mission of a new multidisciplinary Task Force is to identify hair microscopy cases throughout the state of Arizona; note erroneous testimony; determine which cases are appropriate for DNA analysis to resolve a claim of innocence; locate evidence; and seek DNA testing.
