SAK Management System - Tracking and Reporting

New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) has conducted an inventory and has a certified inventory. The supplementary benefit of this funding request will be the ability for NOPD to create a real-time inventory. This funding request is to identify, procure and implement a Radio-frequency identification (RFID) evidence tracking and reporting system that will give NOPD the ability to conduct real-time inventory, electronically track inventory from intake to disposition, and report on inventory for not only investigators, but for victims. This system will generate an electric chain of custody and provide investigators, prosecutors, and victims with status updates on their cases.
