Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2018, $187,500)
The Louisiana State Police Crime Laboratory (LSPCL) proposes to alleviate the growing demand for evidence storage space while increasing the efficiency of the DNA Unit by upgrading the evidence vault to allow for accurate, faster, and more efficient processing of evidence submissions. The LSPCL requests funds to implement moveable shelving units in the evidence vault. The LSPCL has offered 25% in matching funds for this project.
